Samsung has officially reassured users that the stable One UI 8 will be released on schedule in September, despite speculations that arose after Beta 6 was unexpectedly found on the test server. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be the first devices to receive the update, before expanding to other models in the following weeks.

In the past, Samsung has expanded the One UI 8 Beta program to many devices and released the 5th beta for the Galaxy S25. The appearance of Beta 6 has made many people worry that the release schedule may be delayed, especially when this update is said to integrate new features that have appeared on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. However, Samsung has denied this information, affirming that the official version will be released as planned.

“One UI 8 will start rolling out in September, first for the Galaxy S25 series,” a Samsung representative shared in an interview with Newsroom. The company emphasized the three main pillars of One UI 8, including performance optimization, deep integration of AI technology, and enhanced multitasking capabilities, to bring a smoother and more intuitive experience to Galaxy users.

Most likely, the first release phase will only focus on the four Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge models. Other devices, such as the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, or Flip 6, may have to wait until October to start receiving the update. However, it is not impossible that Samsung will surprise by expanding the roadmap earlier than expected.
