Samsung announces detailed One UI 7 rollout schedule

Samsung's One UI 7 release schedule has been a bit vague so far, but the company has now revealed some important details. Samsung has now announced some specific timelines for Galaxy users to keep in mind.

One UI 7 has been delayed quite a bit, but Samsung has confirmed that it will begin rolling out on April 7. While there are specific dates for each region, the rollout is still unclear beyond that initial date. In a post on Samsung's Czech Republic news site, the company has provided some important details about the release roadmap.

According to Tarun Vats, Samsung will initially roll out newer devices, followed by older models in the following weeks. Galaxy tablets will be updated last, until the end of April.

Here is the specific schedule that Samsung has announced:

  • April 10: Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6
  • April 14 onwards: Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5
  • “Mid-April” (expected from April 14 onwards): Galaxy Tab S10 series
  • About a week after Tab S10 (expected from April 21): Galaxy Tab S9 series
  • “Late April” (expected from April 28 to 30): Galaxy Tab S8 series

It should be noted that this roadmap is currently only officially applicable in the Czech Republic. However, with Samsung announcing an April 10 rollout start date in the US and some other regions, it’s safe to assume that the update schedule will be similar in many other markets. Importantly, Samsung isn’t planning to complete the One UI 7 rollout in April, but will instead extend it to at least May or even June.
