Samsung continues to expand the release of One UI 8 (Android 16) for the Galaxy S24 series. Previously, the update was only deployed for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra participating in the One UI 8 Beta program. Now, devices that are not participating in the Beta have also started receiving the update, and especially the Galaxy S24 FE is upgraded for the first time, even though it is not on the testing list.

The first update was released in Korea, with the firmware number varying by model, but the content is almost similar. Galaxy S24 FE users, although not having all the features, still inherit most of the important upgrades, including Now Brief - a feature that provides personalized information right on the lock screen.

One UI 8 focuses on improving the interface, smooth animations, streamlined menus, deeper personalization, and smarter AI, providing an experience that is both convenient and modern.

In the coming time, Samsung will continue to expand One UI 8 to many other devices, including Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and mid-range models such as Galaxy A56, A55, and  A35. Users can check manually by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
