One UI 8, based on Android 16, is bringing many notable improvements to Galaxy users, including the integration of Google Finance into the Now Bar to display real-time stock fluctuations.
Previously, the Now Bar feature was first introduced on One UI 7 with the ability to display the status of ongoing activities such as sports scores, stopwatches, or timers. Users can follow it right on the home screen, in the notification bar, or the lock screen, making it faster and more convenient to update information.

At present, Now Bar mainly supports notifications from Samsung applications, but in the future, it will expand to at least 15 other applications, most likely including third-party applications. Notably, right on One UI 8, the Now Bar has been added with the ability to display stock status from Google Finance, allowing users to track selected stock codes in real time - a useful feature for those who regularly trade or monitor the market.
According to the account that Josh Guy has on X, this feature has been working on some Galaxy devices running One UI 8. However, many users, including the Galaxy S25, have not received it yet, suggesting that this may be a server-side change that is being rolled out gradually. It is currently unclear when Samsung will release it widely and whether this feature will be brought back to One UI 7.
