Samsung fans won't have to wait for next week's launch event to see the new Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Z Fold 8. A massive leak of official promotional materials has just hit the web, giving us a full look at the upcoming foldable duo.

The leaked promo images, shared by renowned tipster Evan Blass, reveal two drastically different design strategies from the South Korean tech giant. While the clamshell Flip 8 stays true to the compact footprint of its predecessor, the Fold 8 is getting a major facelift. It’s noticeably shorter and wider, bringing the cover screen closer to the familiar proportions of a traditional slab phone. Another major change? The back now houses a dual-camera setup instead of the triple-lens array seen on previous models.

On the camera front, the new Flip packs a 50-megapixel main sensor, accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide and a 10MP selfie shooter. As for the Fold, Samsung is equipping it with dual 50MP sensors for both the main and ultrawide lenses, alongside two 10MP selfie cameras split between the inner and outer displays. Both devices will run the latest One UI 9.0 out of the box.

Battery life is also getting a welcome bump, especially on the smaller foldable, which now boasts a 4,300 mAh cell. Meanwhile, the Fold 8 relies on a beefy 4,800 mAh battery to power its massive inner display and handle heavy multitasking workloads.

Under the hood, performance will vary depending on where you live. The top-tier Fold 8 will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. In contrast, the Flip 8 is shifting to the Exynos 2600 chip in most global markets, with only the US and China getting the Snapdragon treatment.

As expected, both foldable flagships come with all the premium fixings: 5G, Wi-Fi 7, dual speakers, side-mounted fingerprint scanners, and an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance.

When it's time to plug in, the Fold supports 45W wired and 20W wireless charging, and there's strong hope that the Flip will be upgraded to match those exact speeds.
