Samsung Galaxy owners, take note: three crucial system updates from Google are currently available for your smartphones and tablets, but you won't get a notification for them. Because these services run quietly in the background, you won't find these update packages in your standard Google Play app manager. Instead, a manual check is required.

The three system apps receiving fresh updates are Android System SafetyCore (v1.0.925574157), Android System WebView (v149.0.7827.91), and Google Play Services (v26.22.33). True to form, Google hasn't released detailed changelogs for these periodic upgrades.

To install them yourself, grab your device and navigate to Settings > Apps, then search for each of the three services by name. On each app's info page, scroll down to the bottom and tap App details in store. This will redirect you to the Google Play Store, where you can simply hit the Update button.

While they may seem invisible, these system upgrades are vital. They typically deliver critical security patches, optimize performance, and boost overall device stability. Reports indicate that these under-the-radar updates are already showing up on phones running One UI 8.5 and One UI 9.
