Samsung continues to roll out the May security patch to more Galaxy devices globally. Recently, the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 have started receiving this update, along with more premium devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Galaxy S24.

Over the past few weeks, Samsung has rolled out the latest security patch to a series of Galaxy devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Galaxy S24 series have been updated in many markets, including the US. Now, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 have also started receiving the May security update in South Korea.

Specifically, the update for the Z Flip 3 has the software code F711NKSS9JYE2, while the Fold 3 is F926NKSS9JYE2. The OTA update size for the Z Flip 3 is around 360 MB. This update doesn't bring any new features, which is understandable since Samsung released the One UI 7 update for these two devices not long ago. One UI 7 brought many notable features and improvements to users.

This is a security-focused update, with patches for nearly 80 vulnerabilities announced by Google and Samsung. Users can check and download it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, despite being launched in 2021, still receive regular software support, showing Samsung's long-term commitment to foldable device users. This update is expected to be released soon in other regions, such as Europe and the US in the coming days.
