Samsung has just released a new software update for the Galaxy Watch 7, bringing the third beta version of One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6. This is the next step in the testing program that started in June, after beta 2 was released earlier this month.
The One UI 8 Watch Beta 3 on the Galaxy Watch 7 comes with firmware L305NKOU1ZYHA, which is 231.39MB in size. The update is currently only available in South Korea, before expanding to other markets in the near future.

According to the changelog, this update focuses on performance improvements and bug fixes. Samsung has fixed the issue of slow GPS connection when resuming a workout after pausing, and improved the accuracy of climbing routes. In addition, the issue of the screen not turning off when the watch is placed vertically on the charger has also been resolved. The update also comes with the August 2025 security patch, adding more layers of protection to the device.
Galaxy Watch 7 users can check and install it right away via the Galaxy Wearable app on their phone by going to: Watch Settings > Watch Software Update > Download and Install. With the continuous testing speed, Samsung is expected to soon widely deploy this new beta version in many other markets.
