Samsung continues to accelerate the rollout of One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. After the Galaxy Tab S9 series was just updated, now it's the turn of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ to get the software upgrade, even faster than some other high-end tablets.

Currently, the update with the firmware code ending in BYI7 has been released in Korea and is expected to expand to other markets in the next few days. Galaxy Tab S10 FE users here can check by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install, then tap Install now to complete the process.

One UI 8 brings many important changes to the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series. Quick Share is redesigned full screen with two separate tabs for Send and Receive, while Samsung Internet also wears a new interface. The alarm, calendar, and reminder apps have been improved in management, while Samsung DeX is now based on Android 16's Desktop Mode, supporting 90, 180, or 270-degree screen rotation and smoother split-screen multitasking.

In addition, One UI 8 also upgraded Modes & Routines with many new conditions and actions, improved Profile Card, Secure Folder, and added Bluetooth Auracast and a Weather app with a more intuitive interface.

The fact that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE was prioritized for updates before the high-end Tab S8 series shows that Samsung wants to synchronize the software experience across multiple segments, helping mid-range tablet users to also have early access to the latest features.
