Samsung continues to attract attention when releasing One UI 8 Beta 7 for the Galaxy S25 series, causing the user community to question whether this is the final test version before releasing the stable version. According to the plan, the official One UI 8 version will be released in September, but the specific release date has not been confirmed.
Currently, the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra have received the new update in all markets participating in the beta program, including India, Germany, Korea, the UK, and the US. This version has the version number ZYI3, with a capacity of more than 600MB on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. As expected, Samsung focuses mainly on bug fixes and performance optimization instead of adding new features.
According to the official changelog, this update fixes six main bugs:
- Fixes the problem of the clock on the lock screen jerking when unlocking/locking.
- Fixes the problem of the clock on the lock screen automatically sliding down.
- Fixed Bluetooth audio interruption.
- Fixed Stretch Font not being applied properly.
- Fixed text on Nowbar, Status Bar, and PIN entry screen being too thin.
- Fixed the issue where the dash icon disappeared on the lock screen.

In addition to the announced bugs, the update may also contain other performance tweaks to prepare for One UI 8 to stabilize on the entire Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25 Edge (which is not part of the beta program).
There is no official information yet on when Samsung will release the final update. The fact that the testing program lasted for seven beta versions has made users even more excited. Hopefully, the stable version will not have to wait too long.
