Samsung has rolled out six One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series since December 2024. In the latest beta, the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra trio have received most of the new features that first appeared on the Galaxy S25. However, one notable feature is still missing: Now Brief.
Now Brief is part of the Galaxy AI experience on the Galaxy S25, allowing users to quickly see smart summaries of their daily schedule, top news, to-dos, weather information, and even traffic situations. The feature acts as an intelligent personal assistant, helping users quickly grasp the necessary information with just a glance.
Although not officially listed in the One UI 7 Beta for the Galaxy S24, according to user findings, Now Brief is actually "hidden" in the system and can be activated through a few simple tricks. This suggests that Samsung may be quietly preparing to integrate Now Brief into the Galaxy S24 series in the upcoming stable update.
According to the roadmap, the official One UI 7 version will start rolling out to the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra from April 7. And most likely, this is also the time when Now Brief will officially "appear".
If the Galaxy S24 is supplemented with Now Brief, it is possible that Samsung will continue to bring this feature to other flagships launched in 2024 such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy Tab S10 series. And who knows, some previous high-end devices will also be "favored" to receive this feature. Let's wait and see what surprises Samsung will bring in the near future.
