Samsung has just released a new software update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra trio, bringing the August 2025 security patch. This is considered the final update before the company opens the One UI 8 Beta program based on Android 16.

Last week, Samsung confirmed that it will deploy One UI 8 Beta for the Galaxy S24 series between August 11 and 17, 2025. However, this update is not a beta version but only focuses on patching a series of security vulnerabilities and improving system stability.

In India, the update has a capacity of 478.65MB with firmware code S92xBXXS4BYH1. Meanwhile, in Korea, the capacity is 315.15MB with code S92xNKSS9BYG8. Users can update directly by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install, or download the firmware file from the database and install it manually via the Odin tool.

The One UI 8 Beta program for Galaxy S24 is not officially open yet, but according to the plan, users will soon experience this major update in August.
