Samsung is slowing down the One UI 8 rollout, but the monthly security update cadence remains steady. The Galaxy A54 has officially received the November 2025 security patch, extending the list of mid-range devices that have been updated in recent days.

The Galaxy A54 has now received the November 2025 patch in the US with the code name A546U1UESGEYK2. This is the first update for the device since upgrading to One UI 8, focusing on improving system stability and important security patches. According to the published document, the November 2025 patch fixes 45 vulnerabilities discovered by Google, Samsung, and partners. After the US and Canada, the update will soon be available in many other markets.

There are already quite a few mid-range and low-cost Samsung devices that have received the 11/2025 update, such as the Galaxy A34, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A06 5G. Interestingly, the new flagship group, such as the Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7, have not received the patch yet, but Samsung is expected to release it in the next few days.

Galaxy A54 users can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. When the patch appears, just tap Install now, and the device will automatically reboot with the latest update.

The Galaxy A54 is also on the list of devices that will be upgraded to One UI 8.5. This version will launch with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026, after which Samsung will expand the rollout to eligible devices. One UI 8.5 brings a series of improvements, such as smoother transition effects, upgraded blur effects, more convenient Quick Settings Panel customization, and a new screen recorder. Many system apps, such as Phone, Settings, and My Files, will also get a new interface with more harmonious rounded corners.
