September is turning into a hot time for One UI 8, and Samsung continues to maintain a rapid update pace. Just a day after releasing Beta 7 for the Galaxy S25 series, the company has released One UI 8 Beta 2 for the Galaxy A36, bringing many important improvements to users participating in the testing program.
Galaxy A36 users in India have now started receiving a new update with the codename ZYI7, which is about 440MB in size. The update comes with the September 2025 security patch, and also fixes some annoying bugs such as the camera app freezing when switching to portrait mode or losing response, as well as the bug that causes the device to restart when manually changing the time. In addition, some AUT-related bugs have also been fixed.
Although the changelog doesn't reveal much more, it is likely that Samsung has further refined minor bugs and improved system stability to provide a smoother experience.
In parallel with the Galaxy A36, Samsung also launched the One UI 8 Beta program for the Galaxy A35, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A55. These models are expected to receive the next test update soon. In addition, other devices such as the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 may also receive the new beta in the next few days.
Regarding the official roadmap, the Galaxy S25 is expected to be the first model to receive the stable One UI 8 this month, before Samsung expands to the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and many other models. The entire One UI 8 update plan is expected to be completed before the end of 2025.
