Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy A36 will be one of the first devices to experience the One UI 8 Beta. This is an important step before the company expands the testing program to many other models next month.

According to Akhilesh Kumar's discovery on X, a One UI 8 Beta build for the Galaxy A36 has appeared on Samsung's internal server. This means that the software development process has entered the final stage, preparing for the upcoming test release. In the first phase, Samsung will deploy the program in India, South Korea, the UK, and the US.

However, this list does not include major markets such as Poland, Germany, or China. Whether these countries will participate in the later stages is still open and will likely be clarified in the next announcements from the company.

Four Galaxy A series devices are scheduled to join the One UI 8 Beta next month, including the Galaxy A36, A35, A55, and A54. Notably, the Galaxy A56 is not on the list, possibly due to its later launch in the US compared to other regions.

In the high-end segment, flagship models such as the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Flip 6 have already received the One UI 8 Beta. Meanwhile, the next generation - the Galaxy S25 series - is expected to be the first to be released with the stable update. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, in particular, have One UI 8 pre-installed right out of the box.
