Samsung has just started rolling out the July 2025 security update for the Galaxy A34 in South Korea. This is part of the regular patch release roadmap for Galaxy devices, and it is likely that other markets will also receive this update in the near future.

The new update has the code name A346NKSSADYG1, and is about 309MB in size. The device is still running One UI 7, as the stable version of One UI 8 has not been officially released, even for the Galaxy S25 series. However, the Galaxy A34 is still on the list of devices eligible to upgrade to Android 16 with One UI 8 in the near future.

The July 2025 security patch focuses on improving system stability and fixing 40 security vulnerabilities, including a serious bug in the Android operating system. In addition, the update also upgrades important components such as Knox security features, Samsung Account integration, Galaxy Watch interface, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi password handling, and emergency SOS functionality.

Korea is usually the first market to receive software updates from Samsung, so this patch is expected to quickly expand to other countries, including Vietnam.

If you are using a Galaxy A34, check for updates by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. To ensure the update process goes smoothly, it is recommended to use Wi-Fi and make sure the device has enough battery before proceeding. Keeping your device up to date will help you enjoy more stable performance and better protection against security risks.
