Samsung has officially launched the One UI 8 (Android 16) update program for the Galaxy S25 series in Korea, including the Galaxy S25 Edge. Previously, models such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Flip 7 FE, and Galaxy S25 FE were pre-installed with One UI 8 right out of the box.

At the same time, the company also announced a detailed list of Galaxy devices that will receive the One UI 8 update in 2025. The distribution process will be implemented in stages, expected to last until November or longer.

  • Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge (already updated in Korea)
  • Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE
  • Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE

This is the official list Samsung has confirmed for 2025. However, it is possible that some other devices will continue to be added. Users should follow the One UI 8 update roadmap to know exactly when their device will be upgraded.
