While the Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra, and the mid-range Tab S10 Lite are grabbing all the attention, Samsung is quietly preparing to launch a new budget tablet – the Galaxy Tab A11. According to leaked sources, this product is likely to launch in September and run One UI 7 based on Android 15, instead of the latest One UI 8.
Although Samsung has launched a series of products running One UI 8, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, the company is not ready to widely deploy this update. The stable version of One UI 8 is expected to come to the Galaxy S25 series in September, while most other devices will have to wait until October. This means that products launched before that time, like the Galaxy Tab A11, will almost certainly run One UI 7 out of the box.
On Samsung's servers, the Galaxy Tab A11 has been revealed with firmware version X130XXU1AYH1, further solidifying its September launch date. This will be a new option in the entry-level segment, competing thanks to its accessible price and basic One UI 7 features.
Along with the Galaxy Tab A11, Samsung is also finalizing the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and preparing for the launch of the flagship Galaxy Tab S11/Tab S11 Ultra. These two high-end models are expected to appear in October and will most likely be the focus of performance and new AI features.
