Samsung is keeping up the pace with the rollout of One UI 8.5 Beta 3 for the Galaxy S25 series. The update, carrying firmware version ZZA3, arrives exactly two weeks after the second beta, signaling that the testing phase is moving along right on schedule.

In this latest build, Samsung is primarily focused on squashing bugs and refining the user experience across the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. For Ultra owners, the over-the-air (OTA) update weighs in at approximately 1,262 MB, with slight size variations expected for other models and regions. Notably, the update also bundles the January 2026 security patch, boosting overall system stability and defense.

Although Samsung has not explicitly confirmed it, there is growing speculation that Beta 3 might be the final test build for the Galaxy S25 lineup. While the software feels increasingly stable, a public release isn't expected immediately. Even if the beta program wraps up this month, the stable version of One UI 8.5 will likely be held back until after the Galaxy S26 launch, which is slated for late February.

For now, the One UI 8.5 beta program remains exclusive to the flagship trio: the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Variants like the S25 Edge or S25 FE are not part of the testing pool, meaning users of those devices will have to wait for the stable rollout, projected to begin in March.

The update is currently live for registered beta participants in the US, UK, India, Germany, Poland, and South Korea. Users in these regions can check for the new build via their device settings now.
