Samsung is expected to officially unveil the stable version of One UI 9 alongside its next-generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Z Fold 8, later this month. In preparation for this strategic move, the South Korean tech giant has begun optimizing its exclusive customization apps by rolling out a fresh update for the Good Lock suite.

The latest upgrade brings new versions to a familiar trio of modules: ClockFace, MultiStar, and RegiStar.

While the changelogs for ClockFace and RegiStar merely cite underlying compatibility optimizations for the new OS, MultiStar introduces a major quality-of-life improvement. The updated MultiStar module allows users to launch apps directly from the Z Flip's cover screen, completely bypassing the need for the Launcher Widget. This tweak makes quick interactions on the outer display significantly smoother and more convenient.

Previously, Samsung released three consecutive One UI 9 beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series, with the stable version expected to hit those devices next month. Once the premium flagship upgrades are complete, the company will initiate a phased rollout for its upper-midrange, budget, and entry-level smartphones in subsequent stages.
