Following the completion of its smartphone upgrades, Samsung has begun rolling out the June security patch for its tablet ecosystem. The latest update spans the tech giant's premium, mid-range, and rugged device portfolios.

Specifically, the new software package is now available for flagship models, including the Galaxy Tab S9, S10, and S11 series (encompassing both Lite and FE editions). The budget-friendly Tab A11 and the ultra-rugged Tab Active 5 are also on the upgrade roster. The patch was initially released in South Korea and is expected to expand to global markets shortly.

This month’s update strictly focuses on patching 45 security vulnerabilities found in previous versions to fortify device protection. As a routine security patch, it introduces no new features or interface overhauls. Users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install.

Previously, the company concluded the deployment of One UI 8.5 to all eligible devices. Currently, the South Korean tech giant is pivoting its focus toward the development of One UI 9, built on the upcoming Android 17 platform. This next-generation operating system is projected to launch around September of this year.
