Samsung has just released a new software update for the international version of the Galaxy S23 FE (model number SM-S711B), bringing the June 2025 security patch to fix many existing security vulnerabilities.
This update has the software version number S711BXXS8EYEA and is currently being rolled out in some regions, such as the Caucasus countries and India. Users can update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Alternatively, you can also manually download the firmware from trusted sources and use the Odin tool on a Windows computer to install it.
Samsung is expected to continue to expand this update to other Galaxy S23 FE versions in the next few days, including unlocked versions in the US (SM-S711U and SM-S711U1), Canada (SM-S711W), Hong Kong (SM-S7110), and South Korea (SM-S711N).
The Galaxy S23 FE is on the list of devices that will be upgraded to Android 16 with the One UI 8.0 interface. Although not a major update like One UI 7, One UI 8 still brings many notable improvements. Currently, Samsung has not announced the official release date of the stable version as well as specific plans for the Galaxy S23 FE.
