Samsung is accelerating the development of One UI 8.5, expanding its internal testing program to include a wider range of mid-range and budget-friendly devices. Following recent sightings of various Galaxy A, M, and F series models on internal servers, three new devices have now joined the roster: the Galaxy A15 5G, Galaxy M56, and Galaxy F56.

According to data spotted on Samsung’s test servers, the Galaxy A15 5G—one of the company's best-selling budget handsets—has officially entered the internal beta phase. The device has appeared on servers in India, Europe, and several other regions. Specifically, the test firmware for the European market carries the build number A156BXXU8EYLL. As of now, there is no indication that the 4G variant of the Galaxy A15 is being tested with One UI 8.5.

In addition to the A-series, the Galaxy M56 has also been added to the testing lineup. Spotted on Indian servers, this device is running a test build identified as M566BXXU4CYK7. As is standard practice, the appearance of test firmware doesn't guarantee an immediate release; rather, it confirms that Samsung has begun evaluating One UI 8.5 compatibility for this specific model.

Running parallel to the M56 is the Galaxy F56. Sharing the same hardware DNA as the M-series, the F56 has surfaced with build number E566BXXU4CYK7 on Samsung’s Indian servers. This aligns with Samsung’s typical strategy of conducting simultaneous tests for M and F models that share similar specifications.

Previously, numerous other devices across the Galaxy A, M, and F lineups were spotted with One UI 8.5 builds, suggesting a phased expansion of the testing program. Looking ahead, the stable rollout of One UI 8.5 is projected to begin in the first half of 2026, likely debuting on flagship models before trickling down to the mid-range and budget segments.
