Samsung is broadening the scope of its One UI 8.5 beta program. While the public beta is currently exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series in select markets, the company is quietly accelerating internal testing across a wider range of devices. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE is the latest addition to this growing list.

According to leaks shared by tech tipster Alfatürk on X, Samsung Electronics has kicked off internal One UI 8.5 testing for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, covering both the standard and Plus models. This move suggests that the tech giant is laying the groundwork for a major software rollout in the near future.

The initial test build was spotted carrying firmware version X520XXU5BYL3. However, this remains strictly an internal build, meaning it is not yet available for public installation. Following its typical release cycle, Samsung is expected to debut the stable version of One UI 8.5 alongside the Galaxy S26 launch—slated for around March 2026—before pushing the update to legacy devices.

Debuting earlier this year, the Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ shipped with Android 15-based One UI 7 and a commitment to seven years of software support. If Samsung holds to this policy, these tablets could see OS upgrades through 2031, potentially reaching Android 22 and One UI 14.

In related news, Samsung recently began One UI 8.5 trials for the flagship Tab S10 lineup, following closely on the heels of the Tab S9 series. Notably, there have been no signs of new firmware testing for the Galaxy Tab S11 as of yet.
