In addition to a series of improvements to the Weather, Calendar, and Reminders apps, the One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series also brings many notable changes to the Samsung Notes app.

Although not mentioned in the official changelog, some users participating in the beta testing program have discovered many new upgrades to the Samsung Notes interface. The most notable is the customizable toolbar. Users just need to press and hold on the toolbar to open the customization menu, allowing them to select frequently used tools and rearrange the display position as desired.

The default note style settings menu has also been improved, adding a horizontal interface for notes, while refining the way to choose the scroll direction and color of notes to become more intuitive.

In addition, the application also adds a new search filter, helping users easily look up old note content quickly.

The most notable upgrade is the integration of the Math Solver feature, which first appeared on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series. This feature uses artificial intelligence to recognize and solve handwritten math problems. This is a particularly useful tool for students and those who often take notes related to mathematical formulas.

However, Math Solver is currently only available on devices that support the S Pen, so Galaxy S25 Ultra users will be the first group to experience this feature.
