Korean tech startup Nota AI has just confirmed that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Samsung to provide AI model optimization technology for Exynos 2500, the latest application processor expected to appear on next-generation Galaxy devices.
Through this cooperation, Nota AI will integrate core technology into Exynos AI Studio, a toolkit for developers who want to fine-tune AI models to run directly on Exynos chips with higher performance and lower energy consumption. This is considered an important platform to help AI generate activities right on the device, instead of depending on cloud processing.

Exynos AI Studio allows customers to optimize their own models, helping to improve inference speed and performance on smartphones. The addition of Nota AI technology is considered to significantly increase optimization efficiency and open up the ability to deploy advanced AI tasks such as content summarization, image processing, or text generation right on the device.
Chae Myeong Su, CEO of Nota AI, said that the collaboration with Samsung is a milestone as the company’s optimization technology is commercialized for the first time on a global scale for consumer products. He emphasized that the combination of AI semiconductor hardware and optimized software is the key to bringing high-performance AI to mobile devices, instead of just existing on server infrastructure. Nota AI has attracted investments from many large corporations in Korea, such as Samsung, LG, Naver D2SF, and Kakao, from the early stages, showing that the domestic AI ecosystem is growing rapidly and playing an increasingly important role in Samsung’s technology strategy.
