The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have just received the March 2025 security update in South Korea. If you own either of these devices and are expecting One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, you may have to wait a little longer. In the meantime, Samsung has released the latest security patch, which fixes several critical security vulnerabilities.
The update is currently rolling out to South Korean variants with model numbers SM-F936N on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and SM-F721N on the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The corresponding software versions are F936NKSS6GYBD and F721NKSS6GYBE. Samsung is expected to expand the update to other variants and regions in the near future.
Checking for and installing the update on your Galaxy phone is simple. Users just need to go to Settings, select Software Update, then tap Download and Install. If there is an update notification, you can also tap on it to download it immediately.
This update is being rolled out in stages, so not everyone will get it at the same time. If you haven't received the update yet but don't want to wait, you can download the firmware from Samsung's database and install it using Odin on your Windows PC.
As for One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, Samsung is currently focusing on releasing the beta version to newer devices. Once testing is complete, the stable update will be rolled out to older devices. So Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 users may have to wait a little longer before getting the official One UI 7.0.
