Samsung continues to refine its smart app ecosystem with a new update for Samsung Food – its AI-powered culinary platform that helps users manage, create, and personalize recipes. The new version not only simplifies recipe editing but also unlocks the Health Goals feature, which used to be a paid privilege, for free.
The Samsung Food 2.50.0 update, now available on the Galaxy Store and Google Play, brings notable improvements to the Recipe Builder feature. Users can now enter ingredients faster thanks to auto-complete, making the recipe creation process more intuitive and time-saving.

Samsung also introduced a new step editor with a clean interface, allowing users to arrange or adjust each step with just a few taps. The company also said it has fixed 11 system errors, improving the stability and overall experience of the app.
Notably, the Health Goals feature – which helps users set daily nutrition and calorie goals – is now available for free to all Samsung Food users. This feature automatically compares the nutritional value of each recipe, helping users track their diet scientifically and in accordance with their personal lifestyle.
Born from the Whisk platform that Samsung acquired in 2019, Samsung Food has quickly developed into a smart cooking application that works on Android, iOS, iPadOS, as well as on Samsung TVs, monitors and Family Hub+ refrigerators.
With this upgrade, Samsung Food is not just a recipe note-taking application, but is moving closer to the role of a smart culinary assistant, combining AI technology and health data to help users eat well, live healthily and control nutrition easier than ever.
