Samsung’s Home Up customization module, part of the popular Good Lock suite, has just received a major update in One UI 9, officially bringing the long-awaited three-finger screenshot feature to Galaxy users.

The standout addition in this release is robust multi-finger gesture support, capable of recognizing three to five fingers simultaneously. Users now have the freedom to map custom quick actions—such as swiping down or pinching—to trigger the multitasking menu, switch apps, return to the home screen, or capture a screenshot.

Undoubtedly, the three-finger swipe for screenshots is the most highly anticipated feature. Long considered a standard convenience on Chinese smartphones, its absence had become a glaring omission for Samsung. Historically, Galaxy owners have voiced frustrations over the default palm-swipe gesture, citing poor sensitivity and the impracticality of one-handed use. With this new integration, Samsung is finally bridging a crucial gap in its overall user experience.
