Samsung is steadily rolling out its March 2026 security patch for the Galaxy S24 lineup, bringing critical system fixes to the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in multiple regions, including India.

Weighing in at approximately 334MB with firmware version S92xBXXUDCZC2, the latest update addresses 65 security vulnerabilities. This targeted release serves as a crucial step in maintaining device safety and overall system stability for users.

The patch initially debuted in South Korea. Carrier-locked and unlocked models in the US market are expected to receive the update in the coming days. Galaxy owners can manually check for availability by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Beyond routine security maintenance, Samsung recently opened the One UI 8.5 beta program—based on Android 16 QPR2—for the Galaxy S24 series. This initiative allows early adopters to test-drive upcoming interface tweaks and new features ahead of a wider public release.

Meanwhile, the tech giant is already hard at work on One UI 9. The next-generation interface is slated to launch alongside Samsung's upcoming flagship devices before trickling down to eligible older models, including the S24.
