Samsung continues to push its security update roadmap for its wearable ecosystem, and the Galaxy Watch 7 is the latest to receive the November 2025 patch. According to initial reports, this update fixes 25 security vulnerabilities, helping the device operate more stably and securely.
In this week's release, Samsung started with the Galaxy Watch 8 and has now expanded to the Galaxy Watch 7. The update is being rolled out in Korea for both Wi-Fi and LTE versions. The update package is 164.59MB in size with the firmware code BYK1.
Samsung plans to roll out this patch to international markets in the next few days. Users can proactively check by opening the Wearable app on their phone, then accessing Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install to download and install.
Along with the security patches, Samsung is also finalizing One UI 8.5, the next interface version for smartphones and tablets, expected to launch with the S26 series in February 2026. One UI 8.5 promises to bring many notable tweaks, especially in the Quick Panel area.
