Samsung is pushing forward with its One UI 8.5 beta program, rolling out the highly anticipated Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 FE. The update is currently live for users in India, arriving just as the tech giant expands its testing phase to include a wider array of devices.

Galaxy S24 FE owners in the region can download One UI 8.5 Beta 2 right now. Carrying firmware version S721BXXUBZZD5 and weighing in at a modest 662.70MB, the patch brings more than just surface-level tweaks. It also bundles the April 2026 security patch, delivering critical system safety enhancements.

This latest release is heavily focused on under-the-hood optimizations and bug squashing. For photography enthusiasts, Samsung has introduced three new camera filters—Classic Film, Pop Film, and Blanc—designed to add a creative flair to mobile shots. Beyond the aesthetic upgrades, the update addresses several nagging issues. Users should see an end to intermittent Bluetooth disconnects, cut-off notification cards, stuttering when opening photo albums, and inaccurate time displays on the Always On Display (AOD).

Additionally, the user interface for notifications has been smoothed out for screen rotation, and lock screen glitches during incoming calls have been resolved. Together, these refinements aim to provide a significantly more stable and fluid daily user experience.

To grab the update, users can simply navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the download is complete, hit install and let the device restart to finalize the process.
