One UI 8.5 will debut on the Galaxy S26 early next year, and everything is pointing to a huge update. Many features have been leaked over the years, and today we have more information about how Samsung is upgrading the smart processing capabilities of Galaxy phones in everyday tasks.
After Now Bar, Samsung is preparing to add a new smart feature called Now Nudges. Android Authority found this feature in the leaked files of One UI 8.5. Based on the screenshots, Now Nudges is based on Galaxy AI, with an operation quite similar to Magic Cue on Pixel 10. This feature can learn your usage habits and proactively make appropriate suggestions at the right time.

In particular, the Recall Important Info feature helps you remember important information from the past, including chats, screenshots and related data. Fill Out Forms Easily learns from the forms you fill out on the web and automatically suggests filling in the information for the next time.
Get Things Done Quickly recognises the content on your screen and suggests actions you can take right away. For example, when you receive a message with a location, Now Nudges will let you quickly open that location in Google Maps. If you're viewing content in an unfamiliar language, the system will suggest a quick translation for you.

Now Nudges will be compatible with many popular messaging and social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Smart form filling will work first on sites and apps like DoorDash, Expedia, Market Kurly, and Trip. All are said to be powered by the Gemini Nano AI platform.
One UI 8.5 will have many other new features. Things will be clearer when Samsung opens the One UI 8.5 Beta program later this year and launches the Galaxy S26 series around February or March 2026.
