A series of leaked screenshots showcasing One UI 9.0 on the Galaxy S25 has surfaced, revealing a major overhaul of the control panel interface and a slew of new AI-powered features.

An internal test build, bearing firmware version BZG6, was recently spotted on Samsung’s servers for the Galaxy S25 lineup. Weighing in at a substantial 3.7 GB, the update indicates that the South Korean tech giant is pushing a significant UI redesign focused heavily on minimalism and enhanced personalization.

The most noticeable changes on the tested S25+ appear in the status bar and Quick Panel. Shortcuts for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are now grouped into softly rounded modules that pop against a dark background. Brightness and volume controls have also been reimagined as large, intuitive sliders, making one-handed operation much smoother. Additionally, the battery widget for connected ecosystem devices has been refreshed with a minimalist, concentric circle aesthetic.

Crucially, the changelog confirms the arrival of several smart tools under the Galaxy AI umbrella. A standout addition is My FanCam, a video recording feature that automatically detects and keeps the subject perfectly centered in the frame. Other notable additions include Now Brief, which generates a personalized daily information digest, and Notification Highlights, which effectively filters and prioritizes the most important alerts for the user.

Bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant, is also receiving a major interactivity upgrade on this upcoming flagship. Users can now simply bring the phone close to their mouth to issue direct commands, entirely bypassing the need for a wake word. On the security front, a new quick-lock feature allows users to instantly secure the device by tapping the power icon directly on the control panel, preventing any unauthorized access.

With detailed images of One UI 9.0 on the Galaxy S25 continuing to leak, users of the flagship series can likely expect Samsung to launch a broader public beta program in the near future.
