Google has just announced the November 2025 Google Play system update, bringing many important improvements to Android devices – including phones, smartwatches, and other devices in the ecosystem. This update will be gradually deployed to Galaxy users and eligible Android devices in the coming weeks.
Every month, Google releases Play system updates to improve core components of Android, such as Google Play Services and Play Store, helping devices operate more stably and securely without upgrading the entire operating system.
This month, Google Play Services version 25.43 focuses on improving Parent-managed contacts and School Time on phones, making it easier for parents to control their children's device usage. In addition, the storage section in Google Settings has also been refined to be more intuitive, and developers will have more camera customization options for the photo scanning feature.
The update also improves the stability of system management services across multiple platforms – from Android Auto, PCs, phones, TVs, to Wear OS wearables. In the utilities section, Autofill now supports saving and auto-filling CVV codes, while Gboard has integrated Pix to improve the payment experience.
With Google Play Store version 48.7, users who are 18 years old or older can now choose to personalize ads, helping to increase privacy and transparency in displaying content.
Google has not yet announced a specific release schedule for each Galaxy device. Users can check manually by going to Settings > Security & Privacy > Update > Google Play System Update.
In parallel, Samsung has also started rolling out the November 2025 security patch, fixing 45 security vulnerabilities discovered by Samsung, Google, and partners, making Galaxy devices safer against potential risks.
