Galaxy users in the US continued to receive good news today as Samsung began releasing One UI 7 to a series of other devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and Galaxy S23 FE. Previously, the Galaxy S22 and S21 series were updated, and newer flagships were also updated to Android 15 early.

After a somewhat slow start, Samsung's One UI 7 update speed has now increased significantly. The update is now available for both locked and unlocked versions of the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 in the US. Specifically, the locked devices receive the update with the code KYDA, while the unlocked version uses the code KYD9. For the Galaxy S23 FE, the update is currently only recorded for the locked version, with the software code DYDB.

In the next few days, Samsung will likely release One UI 7 to all remaining versions of these three devices in the US, before expanding to international markets. At the same time, the company is also preparing to update many other Galaxy models from now until the end of June, and may even extend to July depending on the region.

One UI 7 is a major update based on Android 15, bringing a more modern interface, smoother performance, and a series of valuable new features. Users will receive improvements in motion effects, advanced privacy settings, smarter multitasking capabilities, and many useful AI experiences.
