Samsung continues to surprise by officially releasing the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in Korea, just one day after completing the update for the Fold 4 and Flip 4 generations. Thus, Samsung has almost completed the One UI 7 upgrade plan for the entire eligible foldable phone line in the domestic market.
Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in Korea is receiving the One UI 7 update with the software code F926NKSU7KYD9, while the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is receiving version F711NKSU8KYD9. The installation package size for each device is about 3.5GB, bringing a smooth new interface, more natural motion effects, and many performance improvements.
While One UI 7 is currently only available in South Korea, the current rapid rollout means that Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 users in other markets will also receive the update in the near future. In addition, Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold SE has completed the upgrade to One UI 7 in South Korea.
The fact that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 are getting the One UI 7 update shows that Samsung is maintaining its commitment to long-term support for foldable phones, despite the fact that these models were launched in 2021. Users can now check for updates by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
