Samsung has just released the One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 update (based on Wear OS 6) for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in South Korea. This is the second test version, just a week after the One UI 8 Watch Beta program was opened for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic.

The new update is 158.28MB in size with firmware code R960XXU1ZYI5. According to the changelog, this beta focuses on three important improvements:

  • Improved overall performance
  • Fixed Always-On Display error on some specific watch faces
  • Fixed customization service error when the watch is connected to a new phone

Galaxy Watch 6 Classic users can upgrade by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on their Android phone, then going to Watch Settings > Watch software update > Download and install.

The quick launch of Beta 2 shows that Samsung is speeding up the completion of One UI 8 Watch, promising a more stable and smoother experience before the official release.
