After releasing One UI 8 for the premium Galaxy Tab S9 series early last month, Samsung has now extended this update to two more popular models, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+. Currently, the update is only being rolled out in South Korea.

According to information from the Samsung user community, the update is being released for the Wi-Fi version of the two models with model codes SM-X510 and SM-X610. Specifically, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE receives firmware version X510XXU8DYJ4, while the Tab S9 FE+ also comes with a similar update.

The One UI 8 (Android 16) version brings many tweaks to the interface, performance, and user experience, helping the device operate more smoothly, while enhancing security and optimizing system applications. Users can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Notably, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series is also on the list of devices eligible to receive One UI 8.5, expected to launch with the Galaxy S26 on February 25, 2026. This version is expected to bring many improvements in the  interface, AI features, and optimize user experience on Galaxy devices.
