Samsung has just released the first software update for the Galaxy S25 FE – the latest smartphone in the Galaxy S25 series. The update is currently rolling out in the European market and will soon expand to other regions, including the US, in the coming weeks.
The Galaxy S25 FE, introduced earlier this month, is the final version to join the Galaxy S25 series. The device is committed to supporting 7 generations of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates. The first update, version S731BXXU1AYIB, comes with the September 2025 security patch to enhance stability and better protect the system.
According to the security note, this patch addresses more than 80 vulnerabilities related to Android and One UI, helping to improve privacy and application security. While Samsung didn’t announce any specific changes, users may notice that the device runs smoothly thanks to optimizations for common minor bugs in the early stages.
The Galaxy S25 FE ships with One UI 8 based on Android 16, bringing the latest Galaxy experience with advanced multi-modal AI features. Users in Europe can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. For other markets, Samsung will soon deploy it in the near future.
