Samsung continues to expand the scope of the November 2025 security patch rollout. After a series of other flagships and mid-range devices have updated in recent days, it is the turn of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy A25 to start receiving the new patch in India.
The update for the Galaxy S22 series carries the code S90*EXXSCGYK2, while the Galaxy A25 receives build A256EXXS9DYK2. This is an important patch, addressing 2 critical security flaws and 23 high-level bugs on the Android platform, in addition to 11 vulnerabilities related to Exynos chips. Samsung also added 9 exclusive SVE patches for phones, tablets and wearables.
Users in India can check and install immediately by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
In parallel with the November patch, Samsung is still developing One UI 8.5. Previously, many sources said that the beta version could appear in late November, but so far, there is no sign of deployment, and some leakers confirm that the testing plan has been postponed. However, both the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy A25 are on the list of eligible devices to receive One UI 8.5 when the update is officially ready.
