
Galaxy M56 users can now experience One UI 8.0 – Samsung's latest major update based on Android 16, bringing many improvements in performance, interface, and smart features.
According to information from Samsung Community, the One UI 8.0 update has now been released in India, with a capacity of about 1.96GB and firmware code M566BXXU3BYI6. This is the first major software update for the Galaxy M56 since its launch, promising a smoother and more intuitive experience.

Although released in October, this update comes with the September 2025 security patch, meaning the device will soon receive another minor update in the near future to upgrade to the October 2025 security patch. Samsung is expected to expand the One UI 8.0 rollout to other regions in the next few days.
Users can check and update manually by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. The installation process will take a few minutes, after which the device will automatically restart.
One UI 8.0 brings many subtle changes in design and performance, making the experience on the Galaxy M56 more modern, responsive, and convenient. Meanwhile, the upcoming One UI 8.5 version is said to continue to upgrade the interface and integrate AI, promising to be the next update worth waiting for Galaxy users.
